Safari Overview
This short but exciting safari takes you to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and oldest wildlife reserves, known for its vast open plains and the famous red elephants. A perfect choice for travelers with limited time who still want to experience authentic African wildlife just a few hours from the coast.
05:00 – 06:00: Early morning pick-up from your hotel or Mombasa airport.
Drive: Approximately 3–4 hours along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway to Tsavo East via Bachuma Gate.
Morning Game Drive: Upon entry, begin searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and more.
Lunch: Check-in at your lodge/camp (e.g., Ashnil Aruba, Voi Safari Lodge, Sentrim Tsavo).
Afternoon Game Drive: Explore the park further, including sights like the Aruba Dam and Yatta Plateau.
Dinner & Overnight: At your lodge inside or near the park.
Early Morning Game Drive: Optional sunrise drive for a chance to see predators in action.
Breakfast: Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out.
Mid-Morning Game Drive: En route as you exit the park.
Drive back: Return to Mombasa, with estimated arrival in the early afternoon (14:00–15:00).
Drop-off: At your hotel or airport.
