This 3-day safari offers a perfect blend of classic game viewing and a unique lodge experience. Start in Tsavo East, known for its iconic red elephants and expansive savannahs, then continue to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, home of the world-famous Salt Lick Safari Lodge—a stilted lodge overlooking a waterhole where animals gather right beneath your room. Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East
Early Morning: Pick-up from Mombasa hotel or airport and drive to Tsavo East (approx. 3–4 hours).
Mid-Morning: Enter the park via Bachuma Gate; enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge (e.g., Voi Safari Lodge / Ashnil Aruba).
Lunch: Check-in and enjoy lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon: Game drive exploring the park’s wildlife – elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and more.
Dinner & Overnight: At your lodge in Tsavo East.
Day 2: Tsavo East – Salt Lick Safari Lodge
Early Morning: Breakfast and game drive while exiting Tsavo East.
Drive to Salt Lick: Short scenic drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (approx. 2 hours).
