Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning, heading north (~6 hrs).
Pass Mt. Kenya and arrive in Samburu for lunch and check-in.
Afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River.
Look out for reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and gerenuk.
Dinner & Overnight: Ashnil Samburu / Samburu Simba / Sarova Shaba
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives to track lions, elephants, leopards, and unique northern species.
Optional: Visit a Samburu village (at extra cost).
Rest at the lodge during the heat of the day.
Dinner & Overnight: Same lodge/camp
Day 3: Samburu – Aberdare National Park
After breakfast, drive south (~4 hrs) to Aberdare Ranges.
Lunch at Aberdare Country Club or Outspan.
Transfer to The Ark Lodge or Treetops, overlooking a waterhole frequented by wildlife.
Spend the evening watching animals from observation decks.
Dinner & Overnight: The Ark / Treetops Lodge
Day 4: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru National Park
Early breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru via Nyahururu and Thompson Falls (~3.5 hrs).
Arrive for lunch and check-in.
Afternoon game drive to see white rhinos, flamingos, and possibly leopards.
Visit Baboon Cliff or Makalia Falls if time permits.
Dinner & Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill / Flamingo Hill / Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
Early breakfast, then drive to Masai Mara (~5 hrs).
Arrive at the lodge/camp for check-in and lunch.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Mara plains.
Dinner & Overnight: Basecamp Explorer / Ashnil Mara / Zebra Plains / Mara Serena Lodge
Day 6: Full Day in Masai Mara
Full day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.
Optional: Hot air balloon safari or Maasai village visit.
Expect to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalo, and possibly rhinos and leopards.
Dinner & Overnight: Same lodge/camp
Day 7: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Early morning game drive, then return for breakfast and check-out.
Depart Masai Mara by road back to Nairobi (~5–6 hrs).
Drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
