Safari Overview
Fly straight from Diani Beach to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier wildlife destination, home to the Big Five and the spectacular Great Migration (July–October). This fly-in safari saves time and offers an unforgettable experience with stunning aerial views, luxury camp stays, and world-class game drives—all within just 3 days.
Day 1: Diani – Fly to Masai Mara
06:00–07:00: Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Ukunda Airstrip.
07:30–08:00: Flight departs to Masai Mara (approx. 2 hours, includes scenic flyover of Rift Valley).
10:00: Arrive at Mara airstrip, meet & greet by your safari guide.
Transfer to your camp/lodge with a short en-route game drive.
Lunch: At the lodge or camp (e.g., Basecamp Explorer, Ashnil Mara, Entim, Mara Serena).
Afternoon Game Drive: Explore the vast plains in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, and giraffes.
Dinner & Overnight: At your chosen camp/lodge.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
Early Morning Game Drive: Best time to spot predators on the hunt.
Breakfast: Back at camp or picnic style in the bush.
Optional: Visit a local Maasai village (extra cost).
Lunch: At the lodge or packed if on full-day safari.
Afternoon Game Drive: Explore different areas of the reserve, perhaps near the Mara River (home to crocs and hippos).
Dinner & Overnight: At your camp/lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Fly to Diani
Optional Early Game Drive: If time allows.
Breakfast & Check-out
10:00–11:00: Transfer to the airstrip.
11:00–12:30: Flight back to Ukunda Airstrip.
Transfer back to your hotel in Diani by early afternoon.
