Safari Overview
This 2-day safari takes you to the stunning Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its beautiful lake views, thousands of flamingos, and excellent opportunities to see rhinos, lions, buffalo, and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe. Ideal for bird lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, and travelers short on time.
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Morning Departure
Pickup Time: 7:00 AM from your hotel, residence, or airport.
Scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with optional photo stops at viewpoints like Viewpoint Escarpment or Italian Church.
Mid-Morning Arrival & Game Drive
Enter the park around 10:30 AM.
Begin a game drive along the acacia forest, lake shores, and grasslands.
Spot wildlife such as:
White & black rhinos
Buffalos, warthogs, zebras, waterbucks
Rothschild’s giraffes (endangered and only found in select areas in Kenya)Lions and, with luck, leopards
Over 450 bird species, especially flamingos, pelicans, and fish eagles
Check-In and Lunch
Arrive at your chosen lodge or tented camp for lunch and a brief rest.

Afternoon Game Drive
Depart for a 3:30 PM game drive, exploring areas like:

Return to lodge by 6:00 PM for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
Early Morning Game Drive (Optional)
Optional 6:30 AM drive to catch sunrise, often best time for predator sightings.
Return by 8:00 AM for breakfast and check-out.
Scenic Stops
On your way out, stop at viewpoints or explore lesser-visited park trails if time allows.
Return Journey
Depart park around 10:30–11:00 AM.
Lunch stop optional (own cost or packed by lodge).
Arrive back in Nairobi by 2:30–3:00 PM. Drop-off at hotel or airport.
